PROJECT MAN – SEPT 2014-15

exactly where i wanna be

When the temperatures start to fall with the leaves, OMOO transforms into project mode.  The skipper/engineer is always scheming up ways to enhance the safety and performance of his beautiful JEANNEAU DS43.  The list is extensive and all the work pays off come sailing season.  Here is a glimpse of the 2014-2015 projects completed.

We’re already dreaming of next years adventures, but first there will be a haulout, bottom paint, aluminum anode replacement (instead of zincs) and prop maintenance.  Last spring did find OMOO in need of a short haulout to have a look at the keel and rudder which had some damage from hitting a log (logs), not uncommon on the West Coast.  Fortunately it was minor and didn’t slow us down.
